Introduction : Garrard Jones Engineering Ltd was founded in October 1996 by David Garrard and Roccio Jones, 2 Electricians formally employed by British Coal. The purpose of the business was to repair and overhaul Mining Equipment.
Today, the company employs 40 staff and is also a manufacturer of underground equipment such as Dinter Cutter Loaders (DCL) and Switchgear.
We are pleased to announce that we are one of the main repair centres for UK Coal, Hatfield Powerfuel, Matlby Colliery and other mines within the United Kingdom.

BS EN ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance, and BASEEFA Electrical Equipment Certification repair license for equipment in hazardous areas.
Our fully qualified electrical and mechanical engineers are supported by the original equipment manufacturers, with whom we have repair licenses. We are dedicated to providing a top quality service and are happy to answer your queries.
