Hi, I’m Dave Hartshorn – Electronics Manager, and welcome to my department.

We offer a modern electronics repair department with a comprehensive manufacture and/ or repair service for a diverse collection of electronic equipment. Our staff have achieved BASEEFA ‘Repair of Intrinsic Safety Equipment’ certificates enabling the repair of I.S., and underground electronic equipment. We are equipped with logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, surface mount repair stations, specific designed, built, and programmed test rigs. We are able to simulate both operating, and load conditions for a wide range of equipment, including:

• Wide range of Brush protection boards. (R.P.S. 10, R.P.S. 20, Comet etc.)
• Brush TEL 4, 6, and 8`s.
• GEC CTZ95 boards.
• Joy Chock Interface Units, Joy Junction Boxes.
• MEDC, and MAEF Alternators.
• Trolex Smoke Detectors (Overhaul and wipe tested to Environmental Agency legislation)
• Shot Exploders (Overhaul and tested to H.S.E. Regulation 26(a) and (e))
• Repair / Calibration of a wide range of Meggers, Flash testers, Multimeters,  Metrohms including I.S. area, and underground approved.
• Clayton E/L Invertors / Detectors.
• Clayton Traction Control Units, Speed Controllers, Power Packs.
• Reverse engineer, and manufacture obsolete printed circuit boards.
• Miscellaneous printed circuit board repairs
• Miscellaneous printed circuit board design / manufacture.
• Design, build, and program dedicated test rigs.
